Resilient seated gate valves

Metal Core Valves Co. warrants Models RD, FD, LD, and HD resilient seated gate valves against defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of shipment from Earth City, when installed and operated as specified.

If a warranted valve fails in that period, Metal Core will repair or replace the valve at its option. The serial number on the stem is the record. Keep it with the job file.

What this does not cover

Misapplication, improper installation, or operation outside published ratings
Damage from handling, bedding, or foreign material in the line
Unauthorized modification or repair
Normal wear on consumable parts after the valve is in service

Hydrants and fire protection

Series 27, 2780, and Series 24 hydrants carry a 10 year warranty on the same terms. Indoor fire protection valves (Series 145, 815, 5190, 34, and trim) carry the limited term stated on the product page, typically 1 to 2 years.

This warranty is the exclusive remedy and stands in place of other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent allowed by law. Consequential damages are excluded.
